Aamir Khan told Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari to finish the film by casting Varun or Shahid if he died suddenly. Ranveer and Ranbir were the other actors he mentioned as possible replacements to play the younger Haryanvi wrestler Mahavir Phogat, who life story is being captured in the biopic, Dangal. Aamir Khan has already finished shooting the older version of Mahavir Phogat for which he had put on weight and greyed.

Aamir Khan told Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari to finish the film by casting Varun  or Shahid if he died suddenly.

Ranveer and Ranbir were the other actors he mentioned as possible replacements to play the younger Haryanvi wrestler Mahavir Phogat, whose life story is being captured in the biopic, Dangal.

Aamir Khan has already finished shooting the older version of Mahavir Phogat for which he had put on weight and greyed.

The actor made these comments in an interview with men’s magazine GQ.

And, no, the actor is not suffering from any premonition of death.

He is just aware that his films are totally dependent on him. He does not want them to be affected if anything happens to him.

He says towards the end of a shoot for a film, he writes a note to the people he is working with. In the note, he lists the things he would like to see happening in the movie, post his unexpected departure.

“Anything can happen, life is unpredictable,” he tells GQ.

‘What if I die? What if I get injured really badly when the whole ­film is dependent on me?’ he adds.

Dangal was a tricky case as there was a five-month pause in the shooting as Aamir Khan took off to the US to lose weight to play the younger Mahavir Phogat.

He told Nitesh that if anything happened to him he would just have to cast a younger Mahavir and finish the film.


Aamir Khan went on to suggest four names as possible replacements: Varun, Shahid, Ranveer or Ranbir.


Preparing his colleagues to face an unlikely situation brings out how seriously he gets involved in his movies, leaving nothing to chance. Perhaps, that explains why his films consistently impress critics with their novelty and break box office records.

Aamir Khan says he is scared that a film may not shape up the way he wants and stresses over small things. He also says there is no method to the way he picks movies or does his acting. He only listens to his heart.

A heroic mother rat successfully fought a snake that was slithering away after stealing her baby.

A video of the dramatic encounter shows the snake on the run holding the baby rat in its mouth.

The mother rat can be seen in hot pursuit, doggedly attacking the snake.

The snake unable to take the blows leaves the limp baby rat and runs for its life. The baby rat recovers and is herded to safety by its mother.

Academic and staunch BJP supporter Madhu Kishwar apologised to Bihar Deputy CM Tejasvi Yadav for sharing a photo that allegedly showed a poor quality 'foldable' road in  Bihar.

Madhu Kishwar tweeted on Monday evening saying she was sincerely apologising for sharing the photo without verifying, which she had got form a trusted friend. She, however, made it clear that the apology held good only if the photo was found to be not genuine.

On Sunday, Madhu Kishwar had shared the photo which shows a man folding the top layer of the poorly laid road. She had captioned the photo - a scam in the name of road construction in Bihar.

The photo had earlier gone viral with many sharing it as proof of the poor quality of roads in Bihar, to discredit Nitish Kumar's claim that he had improved them significantly.

The photo suddenly became  credible after Madhu Kishwar retweeted it.

That stung Tejaswi Yadav, who as Bihar's  PWD minister, is responsible for the construction  and maintenance of roads in Bihar.

He and his sister Misa Bharti, a Rajya Sabha member from RJD, pointed out the photo had been earlier shared by a Bangladesh Twitter user Milon Moin Chowdhury and was not from Bihar.

They slammed Madhu Kishwar and said despite claiming to be a journalist, she had shared it without verifying.

Their stance drew wide support by Twitter users from Bihar, who saw Madhu Kishwar's tweet as an attempt to give the state a bad name, prompting her to say sorry.

In a shocking turn of events, two MBBS students have emerged as suspects in the serious animal abuse incident, in which one of them was caught on camera throwing a dog from the roof of a house. An animal rights activist, Karthik Dhandapani, has identified them as Asish Pal and Gautam Sudharshan, both medical students in Chennai, and from Tuticorn and Tirunelveli respectively. A video shows one of them petting a street dog and then suddenly hurling it from the roof of his house.

In a shocking turn of events, two MBBS  students have emerged as suspects in the serious animal abuse incident, in which one of them was caught on camera throwing a dog from the roof of a house.
An animal rights activist, Karthik Dhandapani, has identified them as Asish Pal and Gautam Sudharshan, both medical students in Chennai, and from Tuticorn and Tirunelveli respectively.

A video shows one of them petting a street dog and then suddenly hurling it from the roof  of his house.

The other person possibly handled the camera, which followed  the dog as it lay on the ground writhing in pain.

After the video went viral, horrified animal rights activists filed a complaint with Chennai police and launched a massive man hunt to identify the culprits.

The Humane Society International/India offered a reward of Rs 1 lakh to anyone providing information on them.

With celebrities such as Trisha coming out in support, the campaign  seems to have successfully hunted down the perpetrators of the ghastly crime.

Karthik Dhandapani informs that Asish Pal and Gautam Sudharshan  are on the run with the police in hot pursuit. The roof, where the crime occurred, has also been identified.

If caught and successfully prosecuted Asish Pal and Gautam Sudharshan  face up to five years under Section 429 of IPC and Section 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PCA) Act.

The incident reportedly took place two weeks ago in the Kundrathur police station area of Chennai. The unfortunate dog succumbed to its injuries.

The leaked copy is said to have a run time of two hours and 14 minutes and carries the watermark Censor. A high-definition censor copy of adult comedy Bollywood film Great Grand Masti has reportedly leaked a full two weeks before its release.

The leaked copy is said to have a run time of two hours and 14 minutes and carries the watermark Censor.



Social media is flooded with movie stills of Great Grand Masti allegedly taken from the leaked copy. Also, to the nightmare of the filmmakers review of Great Grand Masti is being posted weeks ahead of its release.

A few weeks ago a Censor Copy of Udta Punjab had also leaked similarly.

The Hindustan Times quoted a trade expert saying the Udta Punjab copy had leaked just a day before its release and managed to get away with it. But losses for Great Grand Masti would be huge as the copy had leaked much in advance.

The makers of Great Grand Masti said they were too shocked to react.

In the case of Udta Punjab fingers were initially pointed at Censor Board as the source of leak. But the Delhipolice arrested a website owner who had no links to the Censor Board.

The Censor board officials had said the filmmakers had taken back the DVD after review and added that the copy may have leaked during ‘transit’.

Great Grand Masti, the third part of the Masti sex-comedy franchise is scheduled for release on July 22.

The unfortunate dog that was thrown from the roof of a five-story building has luckily survived the fall. Two MBBS students Asish Pal and Gautam Sudharshan, who have been accused if the ghastly crime, which was caught in a viral video, are on the run. The dog reportedly suffered fractures in the incident that  took place two weeks ago in Chennai. It is on track to recovery and can't stop wagging its tail, notes animal rights activist Karthik Dhandapani.

It has also been given a name, Bhadra. A video of Bhadra, shows her frail but out of danger and in the care animal rights activists.

NewsCrunch had reported on Tuesday that the dog had succumbed  to its injuries on Tuesday and stands corrected.

The video, which went viral shows Gautam Sudharshan throwing the dog off the roof, while Ashish Paul allegedly caught it on camera.

Horrified animal rights activists filed a complaint with Chennai police and launched a massive man hunt to identify the culprits, who turned out to be students of Madha Medical College.

Their parents have promised to turn them in and the principal of Madha Medical College has advised the to surrender to the police.

Popocatépetl, 70 km southeast of Mexico City, is the most active volcano in Mexico, that has had more than 15 major eruptions since the arrival of the Spanish in 1519.

A major eruption occurred in 1947 and Popocatépetl has most recently smouldered in the months of March and April.

At 17,802 ft, Popocatépetl is also the second highest peak in Mexico, after Citlaltépetl.

Sunidhi Chauhan had been invited to perform on July 3  at MadisonSquareGardenin New York for the NABC 2016,  a Bengali cultural event.

While singing one of her popular numbers, Sunidhi Chauhan tripped on a prop and fell on her back with both the legs in the air.

Old video of Smriti Irani as background dancer in Mika Singh’s hit Boliyan song goes viral

An old video of Textile minister Smriti Irani dancing with Mika Singh has surfaced. She can be seen dancing in the background along with other dancers for Mika Singh’s hit song "Boliyan" of the album "Saawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag". Mika Singh is easily the star of the video with different women, including Smriti Irani, vying for his attention.
Smriti Irani joined BJP in 2003 and became its vice president in 2004, six years after Mika Singh’s Boliyan video was shot (video below)

An old video of Textile minister Smriti Irani dancing with Mika Singh has surfaced.

She can be seen dancing in the background along with other dancers for Mika Singh’s hit song "Boliyan" of the album "Saawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag".

Mika Singh is easily the star of the video with different women, including Smriti Irani, vying for his attention.

Unlike other models, Smriti Irani is dressed in a saree and long blouse, perhaps a premonition that a few decades later she was to become the sanskaari mascot of Modi government.

There is some confusion on when the video was shot. As it was uploaded in 2006 on YouTube, many think that she featured in the video after joining politics.

That is clearly wrong as the video was shot in 1998 when Smriti Irani was struggling to get a foothold in the entertainment industry. The same year she also became a finalist for beauty pageant Miss India contest of 1998.

In 2000, Smriti Irani made her début with TV series Aatish and Hum Hain Kal Aaj Aur Kal. After that she acted as Tulsi Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, becoming a household name.

Smriti Irani joined BJP in 2003 and became its vice president in 2004, six years after Mika Singh’s Boliyan video was shot.

Despite Subramanian Swamy’s match-making efforts, talk of Rahul Gandhi’s marriage to UP Brahmin girl is just rumour

It can be stated now with certainty that the rumour of Congress scion Rahul Gandhi, 46, marrying a stunning well-educated Brahmin girl from Uttar Pradesh is false. The rumour had been circulating in the media circles over the last few days and spilled into public domain when a few publications carried it.
While Congress refused to give an official response to the rumour on Rahul Gandhi wedding,
senior spokesmen reached out to a few journalists to dismiss it.

It can be stated now with certainty that the rumour of Congress scion Rahul Gandhi, 46, marrying a stunning well-educated Brahmin girl from Uttar Pradesh is false.

The rumour had been circulating in the media circles over the last few days and spilled into public domain when a few publications carried it.

It stated that a stunning Brahmin girl, a relative of an officer who had worked with Rajeev Gandhi, had been chosen as Rahul Gandhi’s bride.

In preparation for the wedding, the rumour further stated that Sonia Gandhi had recently visited Anand Bhawan, the Gandhis ancestral home in Allahabad.

The rumour was pretty much baseless from the word go. Sonia Gandhi’s recent visit to Anand Bhawan turned out to be in March when she had spent four hours at the famous residence.


BJP leader Subramanian Swamy further fanned the rumour saying that he had heard from his sources Buddhu, as he mocks at Rahul Gandhi, would soon marry a UP Brahmin girl.

He also said the marriage was being planned to woo Brahmin voters in Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls next year.


While Congress refused to give an official response to the rumour, senior spokesmen reached out to a few journalists to dismiss it.

Journalist Sagarika Ghose, who had earlier tweeted about the ‘exciting rumour’ on Rahul Gandhi marriage said on Wednesday that it was not true.

The photo possibly went into circulation on Tuesday or Wednesday and is being shared by social media accounts which oppose AAP, with comments ranging from ridicule to abuse. We will leave it for experts  to ascertain the truth about the photo of  'Alka Lamba  watering a plant when it rains.'

Here is a hint of AAP stand on the viral photo. On Wednesday night, fellow AAP MLA Kapil Sharma made an interesting tweeted on the subject.

"People who are able to see Alka Lamba in this photo also see the world's best PM in Modi," he said, in a mocking reference  to another fake post on UNESCO that had gone viral recently.

The UNESCO fake post had claimed that the UN body had declared Modi as the world's best PM.

Islamic preacher Zakir Naik has claimed that videos that have his controversial views on Osama are doctored. He is facing heat after it came out that the terrorists who attacked Dhaka cafe were his followers. If anything. Zakir Naik's comments on Osama have been consistent. He has refrained from calling Osama, a terrorist, saying he had never met him nor did he have first-hand knowledge about his activities.

He also adds that there are various videos, which state that 9/11 was a conspiracy of insiders in the US.

Zakir Naik tried making these statements on a  live show with Barkha Dutt a few years ago and she had laughed away at his attempt to see conspiracy videos as credible evidence.
