Pakistan Twenty20 captain Shahid Afridi got into a fight with a TV reporter at Gaddafi stadium, Lahore, on Wednesday.

The cricketer was interacting with mediapersons outside the dressing room before a practice match.

Though most questions were on the Amir controvesy, which he managed well, a googly caught him by surprise.

A reporter of a TV channel asked Afridi how he would win the upcoming ICC World Twenty20 as his record as a captain was very poor.

"Your record has not been as impressive as previous Pakistan Twenty20 captains. Do you think there is a need to change the way you are leading the side?" the reporter asked Afridi.

Afridi smiled sarcastically and said: "I expected you to ask such a 'ghatia' (pathetic) question."

The journalists went on a protest shouting slogans till team manager Intikhab Alam came out and pacified them.

The hit pair broke up without making public why they had stopped seeing each other

One of the big romantic hits of recent years Aashiqui 2 had a tragic ending.

Its lead pair Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor, who were seeing each other in real life, met with the same fate.

The couple were inseparable; both of them would steal time to get away from their busy schedule to spend time together.

Then they broke up without making public why they had stopped seeing each other.

Bollywood Life throws light on what really happened.

Multiple factors, but the finger is pointed at Shraddha's mom, Shivangi Kapoor, who reportedly never approved of the relationship.

Shivangi reportedly thinks Shraddha has a good chance of getting to the top of the industry and playing a long innings. She reprtedly considers Aditya is a distraction.

It has also not helped that Aditya’s last hit was in 2013, Aashiqui 2. After the debacle of Daawat-E-Ishq he even thought of quitting acting.

He is in a do or die situation with his upcoming movie Fitoor.

On the other hand, after Aashiqui 2, Shraddha went on to deliver a hat-trick of hits with Ek Villain, Haider and ABCD 2.

The breakup may as well turnout to be temporary. Aditya and Shraddha are coming together for the Hindi remake of O Kadal Kanmani, which may again rekindle the spark.

When a photographer had tried to claim copyright, PETA had filed a lawsuit

Naruto, an Indonesian monkey, has lost the chance to become the first non-human to own copyright for a selfie.

Peta, which is locked in a legal dispute with photographer David J Slater over the copyright, had filed a suit in San Francisco court on behalf of the monkey.

The judge said monkey did not own the rights for the selfie, he famously took in Indonesiain 2011.

Naruto is popular with researchers in Sulawesiforest, who have studied him for years. The male crested black macaque is also used to the cameras.

In 2011, Slater left an unattended camera on a tripod. Naruto started toying with it, clicking a series of photos, one of which resulted in the now-famous "monkey selfie".

When Slater had tried to claim a copyright over the photo, PETA had filed a lawsuit against him.

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan said on Thursday that he was willing to replace Aamir Khan as the brand ambassador of Incredible India.

In an interview with Times Now Amitabh Bachchan was asked if he would be willing to step into Aamir Khan’s shoes.

Amitabh Bachchan initially gave a guarded response saying he did not know what the issue was with Aamir Khan’s exit.

But he went on to say if asked by the government he would be more than willing to take up the role.

Union Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma said on Wednesday that Aamir Khan’s contract with Incredible India campaign had expired.

There was confusion on Aamir Khan’s status as the Tourism Ministry had stated that he was still with Incredible India in a response to a RTI application.

Aamir Khan’s exit has been controversial as many say he is being let go due to his controversial statement on intolerance.

Blue Ice, as frozen mixture of human waste and a liquid disinfectant is called, fell on a woman in Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh, recently.

The football-size lump came hurling down from a plane and fell on the roof of the woman’s hut. It shattered and a large piece hit her shoulder causing injury, reports The Times of India.

Blue Ice is at the heart of the modern planes’ human waste management system. Here are the top five scientific facts about it.

1) Blue Ice is a mixture of human waste and liquid disinfectant that freezes at high altitude. The name comes from the blue colour of the disinfectant.

2) It is the key by-product of modern vacuum toilet, which was first installed by Boeing in 1982.  It relies on non-stick coating and vacuum suction to wash away and mix poop with a little quantity of liquid disinfectant, which freezes.

3) Before the modern vacuum toilet, onboard waste disposal was messy. Plane loos floated on large quantities of blue liquid that was prone to leaking.

4) There is no mechanism to jettison Blue Ice from the sky.  But, it is known to have accidentally leaked and fell on people and objects even causing litigation.

5) On landing, Blue Ice is vacuumed into a tank which is ferried by a truck and dumped safely.

Mohammed Abad, 43, who has shot into fame as the world's first man to be fitted with a bionic penis is set to lose his virginity aged to an activist sex worker, Charlotte Rose.

Rose, 35, who charges Rs 20,000 an hour, has offered  to have sex with him, free of charge.

Mohammed, who is from Edinburgh, lost his penis in 1978 when he was just six in an horrible accident. He was hit by a car, which dragged him causing grievous injury.

He went through a series of operations starting 2012 to get equipped with a bionic penis, which can gain erection and even pump out his sperm.

The penis has two tubes, which inflate when he presses a button on his testicle. It has become fully functional now and in the video below, Mohammed explains  how his artificial penis works.

Rose, who won British Erotic Award for Sex Worker of the Year in 2013, offered to have sex with Mohammed for free after learning about his plight from the media.

She is also an activist for sexual freedom and has contested in elections though unsuccessfully.

On hearing her offer, Mohammed said, “I have waited long enough for this — it’ll be a great start to the new year."

Narendra Modi has asked PMO to get a  report on the controversial exit of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan from Incredible India campaign.

The Principal Secretary to the PM, Nripendra Mishra, called up Tourism Minister Mahesh Sharma on Thursday, and asked for a factual report on the developments, reports The Indian Express.

The matter was treated as urgent as Sharma was asked to file the report on the same day.

Sharma had contradicted his Ministry's statement that Aamir Khan continued as brand ambassador of Incredible India saying the contract with the actor had expired.

It later emerged that the contract, which had expired was with the advertising agency, McCann Worldgroup. There was no paperwork with Aamir Khan as he had worked free of cost on goodwill.

Sharma's announcement has also stalled the Incredible India campaign as it has effectively stopped the airing of four television commercials on ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’, which feature Aamir Khan.

It will take time to rope in the new brand ambassador, contract a new agency and then shoot the films with new concepts.

Modi is also not pleased Sharma has revived the intolerance talk in the media which has gained him bad publicity internationally.

The central government has allowed Jallikattu this year in Tamil Nadu, reversing the ban placed by the Supreme Court.

Animal activists are upset that the populist decision ignores the cruelty inflicted upon the bulls.

But in Tamil Nadu many say the heritage sport does not harm these animals.

Bulls are let out of a small passage and players seek to overpower it. The animal is not slain after the duel like in Spain and it goes on to live for another Jallikattu.

However, major injuries and deaths are reported from the sport. Over 200 have died from the sport over the past two decades.

Sailesh Gaur and his partner Katal were the second team to attack the terrorists.

The heroic story of the counter attack on terrorists in Pathankot by Garud Commandos especially Sailesh Gaur, Gursevak Singh and Katal has come to light.

While Gursevak Singh succumbed to his injuries, Sailesh Gaur took six bullets but continued to fight. His partner Katal bravely fought on till reinforcements arrived.

The terrorists main aim was to get into the technical area and blow up the planes. It was Garud commandos, especially the men who made the initial contact, who thwarted them.

NDTVgives a detailed reconstruction of what happened on the early hours of January 2.

There was intelligence on the terror attack and a helicopter that was flying over the base with thermal sensors beamed back pictures that showed the location of terrorists.

They were in the dense jungle at the rear of the Mechanical Transport Area in the 2000-acre compound.

At about 3 am, Garud Commandos were deployed to contain and overcome the terrorists.

It was during this fight Gursevak took three bullets and fell.

Sailesh Gaur and his partner Katal were the second team to attack the terrorists. Equipped with Israel-made rifles and machine guns they fought bravely, but Sailesh was hit six times in his lower abdomen.

Though he bled profusely, he didn't abandon his post. He ably supported Katal, and both fought for an hour till the back-ups arrived.

It reportedly took three hours to evacuate Sailesh Gaur, who is from Ambala, to the hospital.

Noted Bangalore eye specialist Dr Saravana Kodandapan has posted a video of a politician threatening him for complaining against liquor shops. 

Dr Kodandapan runs Sri Venkateshwara Nethralaya at Rajarajeshwari Nagar, one of the outer lying suburbs of Bangalore.  

He states that he had complained to the Excise Commissioner on the violation of a rule that prohibits liquor shops in the vicinity of hospitals and educational institutions

The CCTV shows the unidentified politician and his supporters barging in while Dr Kodandapan is checking a patient.

Chilean reporter Bernardita Middleton has gone viral after she suffered a serious wardrobe malfunction on live TV.

She was shooting for a surfing show at the coastal town of Reñaca when her colleagues in the studio dared her to get in the water.

Middleton had been planning to to take a dip after work anyway and was wearing a bikini under her clothes.

So, she stripped into her bikini and got into the turbulent water and emerged unscathed.

As the camera continued to roll,  she dived into water again and this time came up without her flimsy bikini top.

She said the bikini was a recent present and she had not attached the straps to keep it in place, while explaining the  "malfunction".

Maharashtra police are looking for a truck driver, who allegedly killed a dog, by dragging it behind his truck.

A photo, which has caused outrage and gone viral, shows the unfortunate animal chained to the truck by its leg. An eyewitness, who took the photo at Lonikand near Pune, tried to stop the truck unsuccessfully.

The dog's corpse was reportedly found seven kilometers from the spot where it was initially spotted.

After the photo, which made its way to social media went viral, animal rights activists filed  complaint against the driver of the truck MH-46-AF-5490, reports ABP Live.

BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has denied media reports that he called Bollywood actor Aamir Khan a traitor at a  parliamentary committee meeting.

"Never used the word "deshdrohi" for Aamir Khan, if a newspaper has printed it I'll send it a notice," Tiwari tweeted on Saturday.  

He, however, strongly  came out in support of the government's decision to  remove Aamir Khan as Incredible India's brand ambassador.

Manoj Tiwari told ANI that the campaign goes against Aamir Khan's statement that India is not a place to live in.

Media reports had reported that Tiwari had clashed with opposition MPs during a meeting held by Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture.

Other MPs had reportedly objected after he made the alleged comments on Aamir Khan.

Atleast two newspapers The Times of India and The Indian Express had reported on the alleged incident.

A video shows the drunk Lakhimpur cop lying on road helplessly and wailing save me

In  a shameful incident, a police constable in uniform was found lying  on street after drinking more than he could handle.

The man was identified as Rajesh Kumar Pandey of Lakhimpur Kheri.

An India Today video shows him lying helplessly on road as a stray dog, which is drawn to him licks his face. He also cries pitifully and says save me.

The incident occurred on Thursday night, ironically when Uttar Pradesh was on high alert following terror attack in Pathankot.

A few months ago a fully drunk Delhicop was caught on camera and was dismissed from service.

Japanese experts are probing the cause of the death at Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, though Great white sharks are not known to survive in captivity

Zuckerberg wants Vijay Shekhar Sharma to talk less about Free Basics - YouTuve screengrab

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg called Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma recently to request him to tone down his opposition to Free basics.

But Vijay, who has emerged as a fierce critic of Free Basics, gave Zuckerberg a piece of his mind.

"He was trying to tell me that I should talk less about this thing,” he reportedly said about his  conversation with Zuckerberg.

But Vijay bluntly responded saying Zuckerberg did not know about the (Indian) telecom operators, who would block everyone who came in their way.

“They have their own messenger apps, music streaming apps which are paid for services. They want to do these businesses," he added, according to Business Insider.  

Vijay Shekhar Sharma is also the founder of One 97, the parent company of Paytm.

In a stunning real-life daredevil act, Bollywood actor Shraddha Kapoor leapt off the terrace of a 34-storey tall Four Seasons hotel building in Mumbai.

She was harnessed securely and was accompanied by members of Bandaloop, a renowned vertical dancing company, which performs acrobatics on high rises.

The shoot, which completed today, was to promote Lakme’s  weightless foundation products.

The rough footage which is available shows  Shraddha and Bandaloop members dangling mid air. Shraddha probably had an option of using a body double, but decided to take the plunge herself.

Shraddha has been promoting Lakme products for about six years now. In later 2014 she became the brand’s ambassador.

An item song featuring FTII chairman Gajendra Chauhan from an unreleased movie, Any Time Money, has been posted on YouTube.

The item song “Chappan Churi Matwali” shows Gajendra Chauhan matching steps  with scantily clad Sheetal Shah.

The film, which promises an exciting fare of sex, corruption and politics, seems to have Gajendra Chauhan in a key role of a politician.

The appointment of Gajendra Chauhan as FTII chairman triggered a nearly five month long protest by its students, who said they were not against his ideology, but his lack of credentials.

A spoof video, produced by them, compiling key scenes of Gajendra Chauhan's C-grade movies, had even gone viral.

Last week, when Gajendra Chauhan stepped into FTII to take charge, police had to lathi charge protesting students to make way for him.

The Any Time Money's item song seems to have been leaked to further embarrass him.

There is no confirmation on when Any Time Money was shot or about its release date.

Scroll quoted cinematographer Mahesh G Sharma on the synopsis of the movie. It is:

“Dark and provocative, this bold socio-political drama incisively probes into rampant corruption in politics through the complex events sparked by a cunning woman, who is willing to stoop to any lengths to fulfil her delusions of grandeur.”

Besides Gajendra Chauhan the cast includes Sheetal Shah and Avtar Gill.
