Indiain a Day disappoints when compared to the film that inspired it - Life In A Day.

Released in 2011, produced by Ridley Scott, Life In A Day brought a breathtaking collage of human activity as it was recorded on 24th of July, 2010.

An aesthetic collection of heart-warming mini stories from around the world unfolded as the day progressed; the video went viral and has been viewed over 11 million times.

The first look of India in a Day is clichéd. It builds an image many in the country like to see in the mirror – a country on the move thanks to the power of technology.

The video, again a collage sourced from contributors in October 2015, is visually underwhelming and plot-wise predictable.

Though the video is just a first look sneak peek, it is not what you expected from the likes of Ridley Scott and Anurag Kashyap.
