Union Minister and BJP leader Uma Bharti warned Bollywood actors Shah Rukh, Aamir and Saif Ali Khans on Saturday, asking them to focus on their profession and not play politics.
She also said hey had hurt India's image with their statements.
Shahrukh and Aamir have been in hot water with their remarks on intolerance. But Saif, who has not spoken on the subject, still got slammed.
Appearing on ABP News show Press Conference Uma said, besides Aamir, Shah Rukh, Saif, there were another four or five actors who were making controversial comments. However, she did not name them.
The Telegraph quotes Uma asking Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir not make "make an ideological statement wrapped in politics."
If they do they should "be prepared for a reaction from the other side," she adds.
She pointed out that freedom of expression was not a defence as the other side would also claim the same right.
Uma also assured that if actors remains actors, everybody would like them irrespective of political ideology,
