An unidentified man was run over by a train on Tuesday morning at Namkum Railway station in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
As an India Today reporter notes the man was nearly severed into two parts, but was alive for two hours.
A graphic video which is circulating on social media, shows him writhing in pain as he keeps asking for help. The video is too disturbing to be shared.

Some passengers passed by without looking at him. Someone shot his agony on a mobile camera from different angles, based on which media is expressing outrage.
The Railway officials were conspicuously absent from the scene till he passed away.
