A publicist for Tamil film Iru Mugan has denied that Nayanthara was detained at Kuala Lumpur International airport recently.
The incident had reportedly taken place when she was returning from finishing a shooting schedule with Vikram for the movie.
He also warned of action against those spreading false rumours about the alleged incident.
A photo, which allegedly showed Nayanthara in detention at Kuala Lumpur International airport, had surfaced recently and created buzz.
There was speculation in the media that there was some discrepancy in her passport. Some even alleged that she had been caught with ice drugs.
Iru Mugan publicist Yuvaraj issued a statement saying that immigration officials had sought clarification on the work permit for Nayanthara’s supporting team.
