Kota, student suicide capital of India – must watch for IIT JEE candidates (Video)

Kota, the small Rajasthan town, where students flock to prepare for IIT JEE has emerged as the student-suicide capital of India.

Only 0.07% of students who apply to IIT get in. That makes the stress level so high, many opt to end their lives.

East India takes a light-hearted view of the IIT rat race and tells students that not getting into IIT is not the end of the road.
