Ludhiana’s 15-year-old student of of DAV Public School, Jhanvi Behal, is getting trolled for issuing a challenge to debate JNUSU president, Kanhaiya Kumar.
The troll point is she is too young to respond to the complex issues Kanhaiya has raised.
But Jhanvi is not a rookie debater. For her age, she seems to come with long list of activist credentials.
According to The Hindustan Times, Jhanvi has :
* Filed a writ in
* Been part of a sting operation on a liquor and tobacco store, which sold alcohol and tobacco products to under age kids.
* Sought judicial intervention over frequent dharnas and the traffic snarls that
they result in.
* been an active member of an NGO Raksha Jyoti Foundation
* Has been honoured on Republic Day for her contribution to Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
* been an active member of an NGO Raksha Jyoti Foundation
* Has been honoured on Republic Day for her contribution to Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
* Has written letters to the Prime Minister, Chief Justice of India, information and broadcasting minister on a number of social issues.
* Has made a documentary, Maa Mera Ki Kasoor, on female foeticide.
* Considers Mother Teresa as her source of inspiration
Jhanvi hit out at Kanhaiya on Sunday for his famous speech, in which targeted PM Modi.
She told ANI instead of criticising the PM, he should have said something on those who raised anti-national slogans in JNU.
Jhanvi challenged Kanhaiya to meet her 'wherever and whenever' for a debate and has been trending since.
