A social media campaign to protest colourism, the little sister of racism, has gone viral globally.
People are sharing photos celebrating their dark skin and to protest attitudes and FMCG products that discriminate against them.

The hashtag #unfairandlovely has emerged as an interesting trend on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
#unfairandlovely was a project conceived by Pax Jones, a 21-year-old black student at theUniversity of Texas in Austin .
In December, she shot and posted photos of her South Asian classmates, sisters Mirusha and Yanusha Yogarajah. #unfairandlovely gained traction slowly and emerged into a global grass root campaign striking chord particularly with South Asians.
