Skipper Steve Smith smashed a 43-ball 61 to rescue a struggling Australia and pile a match winning 193 for the loss of four wickets against Pakistan in Mohali on Friday.
Smith smashed seven boundaries in his innings and the one he scored in the 19thover off Wahab Riaz created a flutter.
He took guard way outside off stump completely exposing his stumps even before Riaz completed his run-up.
A nervous Riaz bowled a baffling full-toss aiming at Smith’s bat, who comfortably sent it towards the midwicket boundary.
