After losing the T20 Group match to Australia, Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Afridi thanked supporters from Kashmir at Mohali on Friday.
In the previous match against New Zealand, Afridi had similarly thanked supporters from Kashmir during the toss.
BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur had criticised Afridi for his politically incorrect comment.
But unfazed, Afridi went off again during the customary interview after the match.
It is not clear why Afridi sought to thank the people of Kolkata - where Pakistan had taken on India -- at Mohali. But the Mohali crowd did not seem to mind and cheered loudly whatever Afridi said.
At the beginning of the tournament Afridi had upset many back home saying his team received more love more in India than in Pakistan.
Repeated assertions on Kashmir may be the Pak captain's way of blunting criticism back home.
With Friday's 21 run loss to Australia Pakistan is out of the T20 World Cup.
