Trolls continue to target Anushka Sharma even after Virat Kohli steps out to defend her

Anushka Sharma has been attacked viciously in the past whenever Kohli failed to perform.

India batter Virat Kohli came out in defence of his former girl friend Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, who was targeted after his match wining knock against Australia on Sunday.

"Shame on blaming and making fun of her when she has no control over what I do with my sport,” he tweeted.

“If anything she has only motivated and given me more positivity, he added.

Anushka Sharma has been attacked viciously in the past whenever Kohli failed to perform. Ironically, on Sunday, she was trolled after Kohli single-handedly took India to semi-final with a superb 82-run knock against Australia.

This time she was targeted for breaking up with Kohli, with many, ironically,  pointing out that his game had improved after she left him.

Kohli’s defence of Anushka went viral but did not stop trolls, who continued to pester her.
