Pakistan releases confession video of ‘Indian spy’ Kulbhushan Jadhav – ‘I am a Raw agent, training Baloch separatists in terrorism’ (watch)

In a first, Pakistan has released a video making public the ‘confession’ extracted from arrested ‘Indian spy’ Kulbhushan Jadhav.

Indiamaintains that Kulbhushan Jadhav, who was arrested in Balochistan on March 24,  is a retired Navy man, who has no links to the government now.  He has a business in Iran, says India which probably took him to Balochistan, where he was held.

In the video, which was released by Pakistan’s Inter Services Public Relations, Kulbhushan Jadhav confesses to being a RAW agent, who had entered Balochistan to create unrest.

Main points of Kulbhushan Jadhav’s ‘confessions’

* I am still a serving Indian Navy officer - to retitre in 2022

* Gathering intelligence since 2003 using business in Iran as cover

* Been with Raw since 2013

* Report to Anil Kumar Gupta joint secretary at MHA

* Working closely with Baloch students organisation and Balochistan separatists

* Helping them carry out criminal activities including terrorism to kill or maim Pakistani citizens

* Pakistani ports and sensitive installations are a target

* Raw involved in unrest in Balochistan

The video has been edited and at places Kulbhushan Jadhav is shown smiling as he speaks. Indiahas dismissed the video as staged.
