An under-constriction flyover at Burrabazar at the crowded central Kolkata collapsed on Thursday.
Several were killed and many more trapped when a portion of a the flyover gave in.
A video shot after the tragedy shows passenger vehicles, trucks and rickshaws crushed under the debris. But there is no information on how many have been trapped.
The flyover has been under construction since 2009 and has missed several deadlines for completion.

Police, fire brigade and disaster management personnel have rushed to the accident site and started rescue work.
