India captain M S Dhoni gave an unusual response  to an Australian journalist who asked him about his retirement after losing the T20 World Cup semi finals against West Indies.

At 34, Dhoni is among the older players in the international circuit.

Dhoni called the journalist to the podium and asked him a series of questions and made the journalist himself say that he was fit enough to last till 2019 World Cup.

While the episode had a touch  of humour, Dhoni seems to be getting irritated with the questions he is getting at the press conferences. After the Bangla match he had blasted an Indian journalist, who felt that India has struggled to win the match.

Here's how the conversation went between Dhoni and the Australian journalist who asked him about his retirement 

Dhoni: Come here. Let’s have some fun. Come here.

Dhoni: (Journalist is hesitant) Come, come, come. Seriously. Yeah, Yeah, Come.

Journalist: (Sits on a chair next to Dhoni) Yes sir.

Dhoni: You want me to retire.

Journalist: No. That’s what I wanna ask you.

Dhoni: I was hoping it to be an Indian media guy, you know. Because I can’t really say if you have a brother or a son who can really play for India as a wicket keeper.

Journalist: Sure sir.

Dhoni: You think I am unfit?

Journalist: No.

Dhoni: Looked at me running?

Journalist: Very fast.

Dhoni: You think I can survive till the 2019 World Cup?

Journalist: (Thinks) Umm… Sure yes.

Dhoni: Then you have answered the question.
