Media is closely following Rahul Raj Singh, boyfriend of TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee, who hanged herself on Friday.
He has been sighted crying aloud at hospital, posting on Instagram and giving statement to police.
He has reportedly told police that he lived in a two-room flat with Pratyusha, who was fine on Friday morning when he left. But when he returned, he found her hanging and shifted her to Kokilaben hospital with the help of neighbours.
He did not inform police as he was scared and it was hospital office officials, who did that.
After many blamed him for her death, Rahul took to Instagram to protest his innocence. He wrote, “Kya me yahi din dekhne k liye uska sab kuch bana tha k sab log mujhe hi blame kare”? (Did I come into her life to witness the day when I would be blamed for her death?), reports India.com.
Though his account is private, he responded to the India.com’s request to follow him.
A video of him crying aloud at the hospital has also emerged. He is seen escorting an unidentified woman who is in tears. Along the way, he also breaks down and wails loudly.
