2013 was a bad year for Anant Ambani. His team Mumbai Indians lifted the IPL trophy, but he was mercilessly trolled for his weight.
An infamously photoshopped picture showed him sitting on a sofa along with his mother - both at two ends of the furniture. Anant Ambani's end of the sofa is pushed down, like in a see saw.
As a child Anant Ambani suffered from chronic asthma and the strong medication made him put on weight.
If Anant Ambani ever wanted motivation to lose weight, 2013 trolls provided it.
Nearly two years ago, he determined that he would lose weight in natural way and went on a strict diet and exercise regimen.
* He exercised for five-six hours every day, doing a mix of 21-km walk, yoga, weight training, functional training and high-intensity cardio exercises.
* He stuck to a zero-sugar, low-carbohydrate diet along with adequate fat and protein
This time Twitter was not trolling, it applauded
