Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan gave a powerful speech overflowing in protocol and laced with some humour – to welcome the British royal couple, Prince William and Kate Middleton.

He said he had read her Royal Highness, Kate Middleton, saying she did not have a favourite colour.

“I just want to assure you maam, you will go back finding more than one favourite coloúr from this country,” he said.

“Indiais the most colourful and the warmest of the nations that you will ever visit in your lives. On behalf of all those present, I wish you a very warm welcome to India..” said Shah Rukh Khan.
