A Facebook post by a young Delhi woman Radhika P Singh went viral on Monday, quickly gathering 8,000 likes and around 5,000 shares.

Despite this show of tremendous support by the online community, Radhika removed her post on Tuesday.

In the viral post, Radhika P Singh had written about a nasty experience her friend had to endure while they were walking through Delhi's Connaught Place in daytime.

A stranger had grabbed Radhika's friend and tried to kiss her.

The shocked girl had managed to resist and with support from other people, caught her assailant, and informed the police.

Explaining her decision to delete the post, Radhika P Singh told The Hindustan Times that she wanted to "get on with her life"

Acknowledging the support she had received, she said she did not expect any change from the post. Describing herself and her friend as simple people, she said, they wanted to move on and try and forget this incident.

Radhika had also earlier complained that it was a mistake calling the police.

Arriving 40 minutes late, just like in the movies, the police made the young women write their complaint thrice and rejected it every time.

Finally, the concerned sub inspector simply told the highly disturbed young woman that the stranger trying to kiss her did not amount to molesting her.
