Gorakhpur woman marches to husband’s house dressed as bride – to stop his second marriage (video)

A woman marched to her husband’s house dressed as bride and accompanied by a band set to stop her husband from marrying for the second time.

She was successful in her mission.

The woman had got married six years ago and reportedly has two children. The husband, who had left for Delhito earn his living, started living with another woman a few months ago.

His family supported him and preparations for his second wedding were underway.

The woman got to know about the plan and tried to approach the police, but without much success.

 Then she took the unusual step of marching to her husband’s parents’ house where he was staying.

As she went there she found that her in-laws and husband had left the house in a hurry.

The media publicity around her march forced police to act, who have now intervened to uphold the law, which prevents Hindus from marrying for the second time.
