Here is an indie video, which is not on sex and is still going viral. It goes around asking Indian Muslims if they would sing vande mataram.
The answer is diverse as
There is some predictability in the responses – for many Indian Muslims worshipping a goddess violates Islamic religious belief and the answer is a no.
There are also many who say they have no problem.
One man says he loves vande mataram, but hates the anti-Muslim novel, Anand math, which introduced it.
They are all united in saying whether they sing vande mataram or not, do not question their patriotism.
The video ends with a message, which is worth reproducing.
Saying vande mataram does not make you a less Muslim.
Not saying it does not make you less patriotic.
