Presstitutes is a pejorative term used by BJP supporters to describe journalists critical of the party.

On Sunday night, Amitabh Kant posted a screen shot from India against presstitutes, which made fun of Delhi government’s odd-even scheme.

Though the screengrab was witty, it appeared partisan for a bureaucrat to share it. One of Modi’s favourite economic bureaucrat Amitabh Kant has been credited with the Make in Indiacampaign.

When The Economic Time’s Rohini Sigh tweeted noting that a government official was tweeting like this, Amitabh Kant retorted that he was not a bonded labourer and could find interesting things in life.

After others joined in, he repeated at least thrice that he had only found the post interesting; suggesting he had stopped short of endorsing it. To one tweet, an exasperated Amitabh Kant said  he had not taken any potshot at Kejriwal and added, “it was crazy” to accuse him of that.
