The controversy flowing out of Kangana Ranaut’s alleged obsession with Hrithik Roshan finds an echo in their 2010 movie, Kites.
In the Roshans’ home production, Kangana plays a character obsessed with Hrithik, who in turn is in love with Barbara Mori.
In the scene which has now gone viral, Kangana gatecrashes Hrithik's house to wish him Happy Valentine's Day.
When he asks how she got in, she says, “I stole the key from your locker and had a duplicate made”.
Kangana then begins to clean up the place because, she wants to stay there. A freaked out Hrithik threatens to call police and asks her to leave, which she does with a loud howl.
There is more than an eerie similarity between real-life and art here.
