Bill and Melinda Gates have tweeted a photo sporting red nose and promising that they would pay $10 for every re-tweet.
You may have come across silly posts which promise cash from Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg for every click on retweet or share button. But this one is for real.
The $10-for-every-retweet would be paid through the Gates Foundation on the occasion of Red Nose Day, an annual charity event that aims to raise money for children and young-adults living in poverty
Red Nose Day is organised by the British charity, Comic Relief, which was founded in 1985 in response to famine in Ethiopia. It enjoys good support from celebrities and last year it was supported by Stephen Hawking, Rowen Atkinson, Russell Brand, British band Coldplay and others.
Bill Gates had tweeted a photo with Warren Buffet last year both sporting red noses. The Gates Foundation had paid $25 for every retweet in 2015.
