In the middle of the tense last over between Pune Supergiants and Kings XI Punjab at Visakapatnam, a dog stepped in to play an interesting cameo.
Needing 23 runs in the last over, Pune Skipper Dhoni struck three sixes and a four off Punjab's Axar Patel.
As the cameras zoomed in, the dog decided it was time to roll over over its back and perform a few antics. When the security men stepped in to shoo it away it did not give up easily.
As the cameras followed and Dhoni waited, they ran behind the playful dog to get it off the ground.
Dhoni went on to smash 64 off 32 deliveries and help Pune Supergiants score a 4 wicket win over Kings XI Punjab.
Chasing 173, Supergiants looked lost at 86 for five in the 14th over till Dhoni came to bat and his heroics quickly turned the table.
