Congress leader Rahul Gandhi stared trending on Thursday after a photo of notes he had used in his Thursday speech at the Parliament spread on social media.
The “cheat sheet” as it was described by many on Twitter was captured by an alert photo journalist Prem Singh of The Telegraph and then went viral.
In the debate on LalitGate Sushma Swaraj tore into Congress leaders Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, getting personal and critical.
Her onslaught left Congress shaken up though Rahul Gandhi made an unscheduled intervention to salvage the situation.
Rahul Gandhi said he respected Sushma Swaraj though her family took money from Lalit Modi to provide legal services on issues that came under her Ministry.
“You are the first humanitarian, who does humanitarian work in stealth," he charged.
Rahul Gandhi also attacked the Prime Minister, who was not in the House, saying like Gandhi’s three monkeys, Modi did not see or speak or listen to the truth.
While Rahul Gandhi’s speech was animated, a few points did come from the cheat sheet.
The point on the three monkeys, for instance, was clearly visible in the camera.
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had similarly trended when he was seen copying a condolence message of Nepal earthquake victims from his phone.
