Bollywood star Salman Khan has refused to react to raging controversy, which kicked off after singer Arijit Sing’s public apology.
Arijit Singh apologised in a public Facebook post for having insulted Salman Khan at an awards function only to delete it quickly.
But the image of the post has gone viral and many have come out in support of Arijit Singh and even criticised him for ignoring his own stature in the industry to issue an apology that was not required.
Salman Khan has also been slammed for having a supersized ego and for being petty enough to get a Sultan song sung by Arijit Singh deleted. Reports say 'Sultan' have producers have decided to replace Arijit's version with the one sung by Shadab Faridi.
But Salman Khan seems to be living up to his reputation that he neither forgets nor forgives. A spokesperson told Mumbai Mirror that there would be no official quote on the Facebook post as well. He also described it as a non-issue.
Off the record, Salman Khan’s coterie has been claiming that he had no hand in getting Arijit Singh’s song deleted from Sultan. They also say Arijit Singh has been pestering for an audience through continuous messages, which Salman Khan has reportedly refused to grant.
But there are reports contradict these claims and say Salman Khan had got Arijit Singh’s songs deleted from 'Kick' and 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' as well, notes The times of India.
