AIB's Tanmay Bhatt has taken on two holy cows of the nation, Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar, in an episode called Sachin Vs Lata Civil War

It is hilarious and has upset almost everyone. Media is calling it insulting, going too far and tasteless,

Stalwarts' tweets have begun to pour in as we speak, saying there is a Lakshman Rekha that should not be crossed when dealing with holy cows.

But if democracy means freedom of expression, which in turn means pointless humour which offends, so be it.

Anyway, what follows below - Tanmay Bhatt face-morphing both Sachin and Lata, and mimicking their voices - is brilliant stuff.

Sachin Tendulkar is jealous of Virat Kohli especially after 'Vinod' says the RCB captain is 10 times better than him. Hopping mad he asks his fans if they agree... Phuck they don't.

But Lata Tai steps into the frame and says Virat is a better batsman and she likes him better.

Now very angry, Sachin says she should stay out of this as she is 5,000 years old. And her face also looks like someone has kept it in water for eight days, he adds, and asks her to die.

Lata's comeback is noteworthy. If she dies, thousands will come and sing her signature tune. If Sachin dies, thousands will struggle to enact his signature move - adjusting abdomen guard!
