It is not just the likes of Priyanka Chopra, who can tend on Twitter. Anyone can trend – as Mumbai girl Anadita Patel has shown – as long as you have the temerity to call Muhammed Ali a footballer, who was better than the legends Maradona and Ronaldo.
The response from trolls was quick and funny, many thinking that someone from the Gujarat CM Anandiben Patel clan had made the faux pas. But it turned out that this Anadita Patel fell in the non-celeb category. Her claim to fame was that she liked books, Christopher Nolan and coffee, in no particular order.
But one tweet was enough to turn Anadita Patel into an instant celebrity big enough for the trolls to stampede in.
She tried to put on a brave front and said she followed only cricket and declared that Kohli was better than Tendulkar. But as the deluge continued unabated she deleted her Twitter account.
