Social media has not stopped celebrating since the news broke out that Modi has shifted Smriti Irani from HRD to textiles.
From the high profile education to the obscure textiles, the march of Smriti Irani, said to be close to Modi, has been stunning.
There had been too many controversies, one fight after another, earning Smriti Irani near universal unpopularity, that had begun to act as a filter in the way many perceived the Modi government.
Though there is an opinion that Smriti Irani's burden has been lightened to let her lead the charge in UP, many are just glad to see her go.
