Controversial IFS officer Devyani Khobragade’s troubled relationship with her peers continue.
The Prime Minister's Office is reportedly unwilling to heed newly inducted junior social justice and empowerment minister Ramdas Athawale's request to get her appointed as his private secretary.
Modi has not been keen to appoint as private secretaries, officers who had worked with the UPA government in a similar role. He has also shot down names of officers, who were seen as too close to ministers making the request.
