Veteran journalist Arun Shourie has come out opposing Arnab Goswami's call to shut down sections of media, which are allegedly pro-Pakistan.
Arnab Goswami was harshly criticised by Barkha Dutt, after he took the position during a News Hour programme and threatened to expose anti-national journalists one by one.
Speaking to Maanvi of The Quint, Arun Shourie gave his typical analytical breakdown on the issue.
He said: One, don't listen to Arnab Goswami. Two, if you have to shut down any channel, shut down his programme. Three, you never give the right of shutting down media to the government.
