Over 100 top US academics have written a letter giving a stinging appraisal of Modi’s first year in office.
In the letter released to the left-wing journal Economic and Political Weekly they have accused Modi of a several serious misdemeanour, including appointment of incompetent individuals such as Gajendra Chauhan to FTII.
The letter has been signed by the who’s who of the academics from the Indian diaspora and also American experts onIndia such as Wendy Doniger.
