Makuta VFX, the company behind the mesmerising scenes in mega hit Bahubali has released a behind-the-scenes video, revealing the secrets of the movie.
A key to the Bahubali success were the enchanting water fall scenes with which the movie begins and manages to sustain the momentum.
Makuta VFX recaps the key shots of the waterfall scenes and shows how they were assembled.
All the enactments - Prabhas leaping across the cliffs and Anushka swaying to the waterfall - were shot in the studio. Then they were overlaid with the select footage from the waterfall, immersed digitally using sophisticated effects to make them, well, enchanting.
Makuta VFX, which has offices in Santa Clara and Hyderabad, was also the company that made Rajamouli's Eega, another visual effects-rich movie.
It won the National Film Awards in 2010 and 2012 for "Magadheera", and Eega respectively.
