A divorcing Canadian couple, Chris and Shannon Neuman, have gone viral with their smiling selfie.
The photo, which was taken outside a court inCalgary , soon after filing for divorce, shows them smiling joyfully into the camera.

She explains that they are smiling as they “have respectfully, thoughtfully and honourably” ended their marriage.
Married for 11 years, the couple have two children. They decided to part amicably so that it would be easy on the children. They vow to be part of their children’s lives not as squabbling individuals but as united parents.
