A terrifying prank was a popular hit on Japanese TV channels and social media some time ago.
Though released in 2013, the video still gets viewed inJapan and gets the laughs.
The prank has unsuspecting people taking a rigged elevator, which stops half way and goes fully dark. As the nervous people scramble to press help button, a trap door opens, and a man dressed like a scary ghost emerges out. As the victims scream, he approaches them menacingly, to give them a feel of pure terror.
Going by the laughter quotient, the more the victims scream and crawl on the floor in desperation, the more the Japanese enjoy it.
