Lufthansa ran a nearly two month long campaign to get eyeballs during Diwali, which among other things culminated in a dazzling illumination of a 747-8 plane.
The airline promised to add a light to the plane for each Diwali wish sent through its website. Over seven weeks this generated 1.75 lakh Diwali wishes - enough to light up the plane brilliantly and make it look like an alien ship.
The campaign also have away a few free tickets and supported organisations working with childlren.
