TV star Charlie Sheen, 50, admitted on live TV on Tuesday that he is HIV positive.
He said he contracted HIV virus four years ago about the time he was fired from Two and a Half Men.
The comedy, which made him the highest paid TV star, deals with a successful jingle writer, who switches his women as often as changes his bed sheets. Sheen has struggled with drug addiction, pornography and prostitutes in real life.

Appearing on NBC's Today show Sheen said: "I am here to admit that I am in fact HIV positive."
The admission puts an end to a longstanding rumour in the industry.
The actor, who is known for his nonchalant devil-may-care attitude, is seen struggling for words in the video.
