A river of sand supposedly flowing through "Iraq" has caught the attention of many around the world.
The video uploaded on November 11 has been trending especially on Facebook.
The video was shot not in Iraq but in Saudi Arabia Empty Quarter, the largest contiguous desert on earth.
It is not dry sand flowing like water. It is sand mixed with hail that is flowing through the desert following a flash flood.
The phenomenon is rare but known. Egypt, Israel, Jordan and Saudi Arabia have received heav rain over the past few weeks. The rains have triggered floods and a viral video.
