Shweta Rohira is in news over her unfortunate divorce from TV star Pulkit Samrat, whom she married last November in Goa.
The estranged couple had been living separately for sometime now after Pulkit shifted to Delhi to be with his parents.
They had personal differences and would reportedly indulge in noisy fights frequently even drawing complaints from neighbours. Pulkit's rumoured proximity with Yami Gautam also seems to have contributed to the discord.
Their marriage drew attention last year as Salman Khan performed kanyadhaan to give away Shweta Rohira, his rakhi sister.
Salman Khan was busy at the time with his other sister Arpita's wedding. But he still made it a point to fly to Goa to take part in the ceremony.
During the wedding Pulkit had shared the story of how Shweta and Salman Khan had built a strong bond over the years.
As a kid, Shweta had barged into Salman Khan's house and offered to tie a rakhi. Salman Khan had asked her if she was serious, she would have to do it every year.
Since then Shweta has been tying rakhi to him without fail and become close to he family over time.
