Netaji papers lost? |

The Government may have lost the papers concerning the mysterious disappearance of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose due to poor record keeping.
A PTI report quotes the first Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) of India Wajahat Habibullah saying the Subhas papers were not being disclosed because they were not there.
"Either they have been eaten up or disintegrated or lost. That is how records of Government of India are being maintained, " said Wajahat Habibullah.
He was speaking during an event marked to release the book 'RTI Use and Abuse.'
After Independence, the Indian Government has constituted three commissions of inquiry, two of which confirmed Netaji's death in the plane crash.
The third however said that Bose faked his own death, and the report was rejected by the Government without citing any reason.
Another popular theory argues that Subhas Chadra Bose survived the crash but was taken prisoner by Stalin and died at a labour camp.
