Spanish musician plays saxophone during 12-hour brain operation (Watch video)

A 27-year-old Spanish musician Carlos Aguilera not only stayed awake but also played his favourite instrument, saxophone, during a brain surgery in October.  Surgeons at Carlos Haya Hospital in Malaga, Spain, operated Carlos Aguilera to remove his brain tumour using only local anaesthesia.

A 27-year-old Spanish musician Carlos Aguilera not only stayed awake but also played his favourite instrument, saxophone, during a brain surgery in October.

Surgeons at CarlosHayaHospitalin Malaga, Spain, operated Carlos Aguilera to remove his brain tumour using only local anaesthesia.

A video, which captures key moments of the 12-hour long operation, shows Carlos Aguilera playing his soulful instrument. The instrument is held aloft with the help of a nurse.

After making full recovery Carlos Aguilera and his  doctors addressed media, and shared  details of the remarkable surgery.

Carlos Aguilera played saxophone again and said without music his life was nothing.
