Central Railway has introduced a new seating arrangement on a Mumbai local train to create more seats for passengers.
The new longitudinal seats, the kind you see in metro trains, can accommodate 336 more commuters and became an instant hit.

Quoting Railway officials, Mid Day said the size of transformers installed inside motor coaches can be shrunk to accommodate 650 more people.
