Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in second airport controversy |

Indian immigration officials turned back noted Pakistani singer Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan from Hyderabad International Airport on Thursday.
Rahat had flown in on an Etihad flight from Abu Dhabi to take part in a musical programme in the city.
He had overlooked the rule that Pakistani citizens have to enter India either through Delhi or Mumbai airports.
Deccan Chronicle reports that the Pak singer was routed to Mumbai and also quoted the event organisers saying he would still make it to the programme though with some delay.
This is the second time Rahat has been embroiled in a controversy in an Indian airport.
In 2011, Rahat had been detained at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport in New Delhi for carrying US $1.24 lakh in undeclared foreign currency.
A nephew of Pakistani singing legend Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Rahat is a top Bollywood playback singer and has several hit numbers to his credit.
