Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari made an offensive remark against veteran actress Asha Parekh on Saturday by claiming she had climbed 12 floors of his building to lobby for a Padma Bhushan award.
Gadkari was addressing a public gathering inNagpur on Saturday and was joking about how giving out awards had become a `headache`. He was being chased by the award aspirants seeking his recommendation, he pointed out.
