A new video from Kitteyzenkane tells the story of Rupesh Pawar, an 'engineer' who gave up a cushy corporate life to slog it out as a police constable on Mumbai streets.
Rupesh Pawar graduated from Bombay University and worked at Ryder software for two years and later at ING Vyshya for a year.
His father, who suffered a kidney failure, asked Rupesh Pawar to join the police.
His father was in the police; his brother and sister are also constables. So, police work is a family tradition.
Rupesh Pawar got used to his job, which he describes as of the lowest rank in the police. It comes with low pay and punishing hours.
But his wife is happy that he gives them time and does not bring home the work tension.
Rupesh Pawar has two cute kids, whose education, he says is his top priority.
He is happy he is cop. Rupesh Pawar says police are important to society and he is glad he is part of them.
The video does not identify him as an engineer, though; but the discussions on the video perceive him as one.
