Delhi BJP MLA OP Sharma and his supporters were caught on camera beating up a man outside
ANI identified the man as a Communist Party of India (CPI) activist, Ameeque Jamai.
The BJP MLA and his supporters continued to thrash Jamai till a police constable rushed to rescue him.

Sharma had reportedly come to the court complex in connection with the hearing in the defamation case filed by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
Though Jamai was present in the court premises in support of JNU student leader Kanhaiya Kumar, who was produced before the court, it is not clear, who led to the confrontation.
