Shaktiman's injured leg was amputated by a team of doctors on Thursday.

He was arrested after an FIR was lodged against him and his associates for the assault on the horse on March 14.
ANI has published a photo of Ganesh Joshi in police lockup.
He was later produced in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, who sent him to 14 days' judicial remand.
Joshi has been taken to Suddhowala prison.
