Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan gave a kick-start to the Indo-Pak T20 match at Eden Gardens with a graceful rendition of Indian national anthem.
Unlike popular singer Shafkat Amanat, who messed up Pakistani national anthem, Big B pulled it off in style. He came prepared, sung well within his limitations, without trying too hard.
The Jana Gana Mana in his famous baritone created the right emotional ambiance for the Indian fans as their team took on arch rivals Pakistan.
Speaking to the media later, Amitabh Bachchan wished for peace between the two countries.
