Shoaib Akhtar got angry with ESPN Star Sports anchor Jatin Sapru, who tried to ridicule Pakistani team after they lost the T20 World Cup match against India at Eden gardens.
The Pak pacer became tense and asked Jatin Sapru not to make fun of his team.
After India win, Jatin Sapru got carried away and laughed at Shoaib Akhtar saying his boys did not play well.
Many Indian Twitter uses agreed with Shoaib Akhtar and said Jatin Sapru had shown poor sportsman spirit. He also came under criticism at a Reddit forum.
The bitter episode did not stop Shoaib Akhtar from giving credit where it was due. He lavished praise on Virat Kohli, and said he was the best finisher of the game after the Indian batter helped his side score a six wicket win over Pakistan
